Roller Derby Makes Women More Successful!
“Health studies over the past decade have demonstrated that highly active girls and young women are 20% less likely to get breast cancer later in life, experience increase in bone mass ” a critical deterrent to osteoporosis, and are less likely to regularly smoke - a significant contributor to heart disease, the leading killer of women in America.
According to the Women’s Sports Foundation, there is a distinct correlation between women’s sports participation and success in business. One study released by WSF indicated that “82 percent of executive businesswomen played sports growing up - and the vast majority say lessons learned on the playing field have contributed to their success in business.” Despite these tangible benefits, girls and women are less likely to have access to sports programs than their male counterparts. Thus, concludes the report, equity in sports helps create equity in society for women.”

Fundraiser
We are holding our first fundraiser on Saturday January 30th in O’Reillys lot.
Tickets are $5 and include either a 2 hot dogs or a hamburger. You also get potato salad and beans too.
